Goals

Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha already had the makings of a solid brand, but lacked consistency around color usage and typography. They were also in the midst of a website redesign, using a template devoid of brand cohesion. First, I revised the existing bottle labels to accommodate longer flavor names and selected a new color palette to better differentiate each flavor. Next, I worked with a photographer to capture Rowdy Mermaid customers enjoying their kombucha. Lastly, I redesigned every page of the templated website, creating the homepage tail overlay, using consistent typography, and instilling personality via playful messaging, airy photography, intentional white space and restrained typography.
